This image was used for a full page ad in several jewelry trade magazines, as well as for a postcard.
Although cropped from this image, both the ad and postcard included a thin black key-line around the jewelry and reflection, which created an outside border in which the company logo and copy were placed.
In order for all sides of the jewelry to be contained by the key-line, the top of the necklace needed to fade away quickly; likewise, the reflection at the bottom drops off very quickly.
